On the home page, near the top we presented the "Simplicity List".  We told you those who had tried to buy products and services had struggled finding a good fit and we told you we provided reasons for that in the orientation process. That is where this page picks up...   

The Problems standing between you and "simple" were many, but here are FOUR of the Bigger Ones...

1. Proficiency Gaps - When buying products and services, the proficiency gap between the consumer and provider was and still is simply too large. There is not enough shared understanding for the consumer to properly vet and select software and providers nor cross check the service provider enough to keep a healthy balance. There also isn't enough money in it for the service providers to take the time needed to explain the confusion of complex systems to consumers, thus sustaining the divide. 
   
   
2. Foundational Educational Deficiencies and Omissions affected all aspects of Software Design and Selection  - No one has gotten a proper "functional bookkeeping education" for small business and personal needs since the Digital Age kicked off.  The text books still start out with Debits, Credits and T Accounts when everyone wishing to do anything significant needed to use a simple and flexible software solution to get going.  Software Developers building Bookkeeping and Accounting Solutions today lack basic background to prevent confusion with their own offerings. Intuit, the Company that produced Quickbooks, is an exceptional example of this. 
   
   
3. Venture Capital Misalignment is ever present -  The very nature of the requirements put on for profit start-ups will never result in great, long term technical solutions for small business people and individuals. Small Business and Individual needs are fragmented. They require more diversity than Venture Capitals can afford to offer from the get go, and the VCs have an everpresent desire for user consolidation for increased profitability. Thus they are constantly working in the exact opposite direction of that which fits the client base best. To compound matters, investors in Venture Funded startups can frequently be found silently funding attacks on non-venture funded startups and community related benefit groups to prevent grass root blast offs that threaten their investments.  It's an Escher Drawing in motion that's easy to understand with a few simple pointers.

4. "Consumerism" - There is a belief set called "consumerism" that is limiting most and driving them towards buying services and software solutions from others without realizing the omissions in the options they are being forced to choose from.  The most relevant omitted option with the greatest customization and flexibility is the "Do It Yourself" systems. They provide better balance, stability and empowerment, but you were not provided a head start with these in primary school because there was just "no money in it for 'them' ". In fact, such education actually undermines a consumption based economy, and it could be career ending for them as we'll repeat again later.     

To work around these problems we needed: 

1. A "dramatically" new way to teach Bookkeeping and Accounting - We needed a totally different type of introductory course for Bookkeeping and Accounting. One that is focused on a Holistic Accounting System, not on debits, credits or other dogma that was more relevant prior to a Digital Age. The "simple" framework above is where we start. This education is needed by all Small Business People, Householders and aspiring Programmers to more fully realize the lesser options in the digital marketplace today. This education is also needed now more than ever by Positive spinning Professionals to reconnect them to the folks they are seeking to serve in a more balanced and beneficial manner for all. 
   
   
2. A "dramatically" new Accounting Software Paradigm - We needed Community Supported, Customizable, Open-Source,  "Do it Yourself" Software where each user's data is separate from all others. We needed these systems for education and we needed these same systems for actively engaging in Commerce in a more healthy manner. We needed actual digital solutions which showed how "Bookkeeping" functionality can be fully separate from "Sales Systems" for greater clarity. We needed a Bookkeeping system where positive and negative values were used on the front-end, instead of debits and credits, to simplify things tremendously. With digital technology it's easy for software to convert signed values to debits and credits, and that is now done quietly in the background to achieve proper accounting benefits. A bit like Karma.  We even offer a switch to turn them on and off to see what they do and don't contribute in a digital age, and that is quite a novel feature to say the least. 
   
   
3. A "consumerism" intervention - We needed a serious and in-depth unwinding from "Consumerism" so each can find personal empowerment again along with a healthier understanding of the balance between commerce, community, and conscious capitalism in industries where it might still make sense. 

Our Solutions are ready for broader exposure now. "Consumerism" is all that still stands in our way...

• In "Consumerism" there is an underlying belief that "someone else possess magic knowledge that may be worth a mint" AND the "perfect software tool has been developed for me by others already".
• While the value of magical knowledge of others may be debatable, it's crystal clear when buying software "built by others" that you only get to select from options that are the most profitable for the "those" that sell them.
• The software tools that would be  best for you weren't a selectable option because they are less profitable to "them". In fact, in some cases, what's best for you is career ending for "them".
• This is the swamp of "consumerism" you will find yourself in today, if you take the time to do a full and honest assessment of your wants and needs and compare them to their offerings.
• Consumerism a very subtle form of dis-empowerment that has infected all globally to one degree or another.  

When Consumerism is in full swing, "All Great Products Disappear".

2016 to Present...

• In late 2016, Our First-of-a-Kind Bookkeeping Template was prototyped. A change on the Google Spreadsheet Platform was the stimulus. 
  • Our singular goal was to create an Automated Spreadsheet Alternative for the Quickbooks Journals, General Ledger and Balance Sheet for Life. An "automated spreadsheet" represents a totally new type of Paper Clip that goes a long ways toward making all other current offerings archaic in function, if not obsolete. 
  • Whimsically, we dubbed it the "Quickbooks Killer". 
  • We've come a long ways since then. 
    • What we were attempting to do was something over 2 Million CPAs since the 1980s were either unable to do or unwilling to publish. 
    • What we were attempting to do is something hundreds of global Professional Accounting Associations and Publishing Organizations involved in "accounting related research and technology" were unable to do or unwilling to publish.
    • What we were attempting to do was something Billions in Silicon Valley Venture Capital Dollars were unwilling to do given the damage the underlying DIY Database technology and individual empowerment would wreak on their other Software as a Service (SaaS) Investments for small businesses, mid-size businesses and individuals.

• In late 2018, our first Beta Testers were brought online with great success, but the Balance Sheet was not fully automated at that time.  
  
  
• In Spring 2020, our fully automated General Ledger and Balance Sheet finally passed Professional Muster, and it underwent more testing.
  
  
• In November 2021, the top 10 Accounting Publishers around the Globe were asked politely to introduce our Solutions to the World. Unfortunately for all their constituents, they all went silent, like Church Mice.
  
  
• ​​For our Next Step into "Professional Notification", we sent information to the top 100 most influential Accountants on the Planet.  These were the people most well positioned to acknowledge the novelty and power of our offerings.​
  • Unfortunately, most were "too busy making money" to slow down enough to realize those they were making money off of had had enough.
  • Likewise, they seemed numb to the younger generations who had been trapped in non-dischargeable Debt without proper Accounting Prowess as a right of passage as many of their elders had in fact been granted in a slower, more manual age. 
  • What most seemed not to realize is the level to which we might all need them to a far lesser degree unless they step in with healthier support, immediately. 

​An introduction to the term "Overhead" and
your first short course on Profitability and Obsolescence

Software Costs are referred to in Business as "overhead".

• Overhead does not contribute directly to Profit.
• The software may benefit you a great deal and enable you to make more money than you would without it, but that is "indirect support" that is categorized as "overhead". 
• A reduction in "unnecessary overhead", like the reduction in software costs on going for life, has a 1 to 1 correlation with increased Profitability for Life. 

CPA's, Bookkeepers, and other Accounting related service providers are also "overhead"

Currently (as of 11/19/2021), Accounting service providers are required overhead for most US Small Businesses.

• They  manage "Tax Responsibility and Risk" that is simply too complex due to an illogical amount of Governmental Complexities. 
  • Unfortunately, many have gotten so careless with their work over the past 20 years as the tax codes have continued to grow, the insurance companies have had to step in with higher malpractice insurance. 
  • Instead of bolstering the Pros, it has scared many to the point where they no longer provide even a portion of the comfort and support they once did. 
• They also currently manage Bookkeeping Software for many Small Businesses, simply because all the software out there is just too damn bloated and complex for the Average Joe to digest. 

Thankfully today is a new day. 

Our reliance on Accounting Professionals can be reduced massively with two simple changes:

1. A Shift to a Flat Income Tax, as is found in most other developed countries 
2. An Earth Rattling simplification in digital solutions for bookkeeping and accounting software, exactly like that which we have published for FREE on this website!!

So, as you can see, we're 50% of the way towards reducing overhead and increasing Profitability already!!

The next step is to get the Current Accounting Professionals to 1) help everyone with a simpler software solution and 2) advocate for a grand reduction in Tax Code and IRS oversight to simplify life in a way that slows the need to go to a Flat Tax faster!

From Humble Beginnings to a "Suite" of Modular Software offerings Second to None

​What started for us years ago as a simple mission to provide a "Bookkeeping Template" separated from "Sales Systems" to help alleviate stress from Quickbooks bloat, mischief and malfeasance has grown a lot.

We realized explaining the relationship between a Bookkeeping Template and the Sales Systems people valued more was going to be critical to keep us swimming with the current, so we developed the 6 Box Model for Education and Understanding.

Then we realized providing templates for Sales Systems were required to grant users the experience of healthy separation between Sales Systems and a Bookkeeping System. 

Then we realized showing others how to create Sales Systems in a more modular way as we had done for our own needs many years ago was going to be a requirement too. Many people could see the benefits of the basic systems but they had advanced needs like us, so knew we'd have to share those secrets too.  In anticipation of those needs, we developed an entire programming protocol for building modular, multi-template database applications on spreadsheet platforms that would help standardize an industry before it was born. 

With all of this, we knew current Pros in Education, Accounting and Technology would understand the novelty of what we were offering very quickly, but we were still concerned the End Users buried in a world of "Consumerism" might still be a tough nut to crack, so we:

1. Removed debits and credits as a necessary data entry component in our Bookkeeping Template. We did this to simplify the educational process and to show the lesser value they add in a modern digital solution. They are done in the background, which is cool, but even cooler is the on/off button we created to turn them on and off to show the Pros and Novices alike what they do and don't do in a Digital Age with full clarity. 
   
   
2. We created an abridged education system for bookkeeping and accounting that should be far more appealing due to the use of stimulating images and strong emotions to stir them in more ways than one.  ​
   
   
3. We created a feast of DIY Websites such as this one, done on the Weebly Platform, for sharing all we had to offer, which extends well beyond Bookkeeping and Accounting too. DIY Websites are fantastic for optimizing time related to customer screening and support in addition to any "marketing benefits" they may provide.  They are also an exceptional way for Rabid Global Advocates to present information for sharing with others in a fast and flexible way.  ​For Do It Yourself Website Building Education, please see our Sister Core Resource called the "Website Builders Guide" courtesy of the 220 Club.
