Orientation > Step 2 > Magical Millennial
You all have been totally screwed over. Most have yet to dig deep enough to get over the shame of being hosed by your elders in some very sadistic student loan and economic debt trap systems.
You all are still seemingly trying to figure out if it's as bad as it looks. It is. When an elder says they are a "free market thinker", laugh at them. The story of Santa Clause holds more water.
Do NOT fall for the exceptionalism stories. The United States, for you all, is NOT great. It hasn't been for some time. Anyone born in the mid 1970's started pulling shorter and shorter straws with a few exceptions, as always.
We live in an age where Small Business Consultants, Bookkeeping Coaches, Personal Budgeting Advisers and Tax Accountants feel it's "okay" to charge $250-350/hour for knowledge we all should have gotten for free in high school. This is them living off systems they were given that you were robbed of.
We live in an age where our country has saddled our youngest and brightest with $1.3 trillion in student loan debt. We live in an age where $22 trillion in communal debt has gone mostly towards wars and other equally unethical, usury oriented ventures, and we live in an age in which the country touted by many (delusional ones) as the greatest on the planet has no Universal Healthcare, unlike every other industrialized country in the world. It's at times like these we all could use a break AND YOU ALL ARE GOING TO HAVE TO RISE UP AND MAKE IT HAPPEN. This older generation needs to be neutered.

Words of Wisdom
As for people who are asking for $250-350/hour to teach accounting, bookkeeping or financial management in a one-on-one situation because it's so complex? Steer clear until you're done here.
We are offering sound education that is free. Soak it up. Put it to good use.
