Education > Accounting Studio Magic > ASM 101 Introduction
What did Bob Ross and Mr. Rogers have in common?
A Passion for sharing with all Ages while using very simple vocabulary.
Doing Digital Bookkeeping and Accounting is far easier than learning the vocabulary.
In our solutions, you get to cut, paste and pick from lists,
and in some, a Green Light will tell you when you did it all right!!
It's like crafts class many years ago, and we talk about Finger Painting too!
The formal vocabulary is a bit more difficult to learn.
There seems to be multiple words for many singular concepts,
although that is the case for many other things you've mastered too!
Go slow. With a good teacher it comes with time.
In this introductory series we are going to welcome Bob Ross, Mr. Rogers, Dr. Seuss, Richard Simmons, and Gil Boyne into a single channel. Please don't confuse our attempt to use simple vocabulary and our desire to keep it simple with anything other than a passion for sharing in a way that is as inclusive as we could muster.
If as you start reading Part 1 below, you feel it's not for you,
just read the summary for it and skip to part 2.
The fun funny prose will wane as the content grows,
although we'll try to slip it in now and again to remind you to wiggle your toes.
Your Capstone Class awaits.

Bookkeeping is Scorekeeping for the Game of Commerce,
and We're all Commercial Players in our own Commercial Way.
and We're all Commercial Players in our own Commercial Way.
Our Motto is "Practice First - Theory Second"
When you're at the top of the educational obelisk, where the Capstone resides, it's typically impossible to practice first because most are clueless what they're going to practice, much less how to do it. The rest claim they understand the tiny pyramid atop without a clue of the mass below.
Certainly we should give you "some theory" before you practice sight for the first time, right? That may not always be the case, but for Bookkeeping and Accounting surely it's true?
Learning about Bookkeeping and Accounting isn't remotely like learning meditation or yoga or any of that other simple stuff. Teaching you about what's keeping you here is a heck of a lot harder than teaching you how to get out of here. The latter is easy while the former has turned into a Formidable Foe!!
For those with a maximum reading capacity of a single page or less, we created the Single Page Visuals to get you going, but beyond that you may be on your own.
For the rest of you, please afford us the pleasure of your reading attention for 10 to 20 minutes. Yes. We realize for some that is a literary eternity. Our hope is that others will be available soon to spoon feed it to you too, but until then, this will have to do. We sincerely hope you'll enjoy the prose on the way to plucking your very first Bookkeeping Rose.
